The objective of the Heinz Sielmann Trust is to preserve the remaining sanctuaries of rare animal and plant species in order to develop a positive attitude towards nature in people, especially in children and adolescents.
Kösen’s philosophy has been for many years to convey the beauty, grace and dignity of animals with life-like plush animals.
Therefore, The Heinz Sielmann Trust and Kösen have formed an official partnership and will work together on projects of nature and species preservation.
In 2004 a plot was acquired in Berlin which now provides a habitat for bisons.
